William Roberts-Spirit Bench 2011

For my senior project I built a bench for Spectrum commemorating the school spirit of the class of 2011. Once I built the structure of the bench from wood, I had the senior class decorate tiles and created a mosaic from these pieces. Through this project, I served Spectrum High School. I created a memory that will continue to be a reminder for years to come.

Through senior project I have learned new woodworking skills that I am able to use to produce stronger better products. I have achieved a greater focus and a greater willingness to work hard. I discovered new concepts that allowed me to descend to a deeper level of woodworking. I learned how to make the most of what I have, and it has increased my mental and social stamina.

My advice for future seniors is to choose a product area they can enjoy and work at it with all thier heart. Don't be afraid to be passionate and forceful about thier project.
