Jonathon Almen- Jon's Fishing Camp

For my senior project, I created and taught a fishing camp for young kids. I served the community by teaching a younger generation a life skill.

This experience has changed me in what my dream job would be. My skill to communicate with the younger kids has increased, and I have grown to respect them because they are smarter than we give themn credit for. I also realized how much of an impact a cmall camp like mine can make. The parents kept telling me how excited their kids were to come the next day. I even had a parent coment on how his kids fished the weekend after my camp and how much they had improved. I learned that nothing comes without asking, and I am more confident in my presentation abilities.

If I were to give advice to next year's seniors, I would tell them to do what you want to do. Also, do it during the summer.
